Straw art

Img_1189Our friend brought this when she was visiting CA couple weeks ago. Straw art! She found it at Thai restaurant where they were giving these to their customers who ordered drinks. Talk about customer service...It's really intricate and almost looks like a ceramic piece

hhm i saw this at a thai restaurant out in riverside county and i've been doing it ever since. maybe its a thai thing?
