Nest: empower women in developing countries through craft

Nest is a nonprofit organization dedicated to support women artists and artisans in the developing world by helping them create sustainable entrepreneurial hand craft oriented businesses. They have micro-loaning in place so that these women can start their business (purchase materials, tools etc. to work on their handmade crafts). I like the way they generate money for micro-loaning. They sell a one-of-a-kind line of clothing, accessories and merchandise for the home produced exclusively for Nest by a group of artists and designers.
