Our friend Corey forwarded me the link few days ago. I watched it, loved it and kept thinking about it. So here it is! Love how infograph is animated along with the clever voice over. Thanks Corey!

Construction site for hotel in Paris. They are using printable panels turn ugly "in process" construction site into optimistic view to excite the public. I really like the hand drawing style they used to capture the future vision. Can you see the sketch line on the windows and how drawing fades away and construction structures see through as it goes toward the top of the panel?

This Sprint commercial kept me in front of the scree (with a big smile:) Great story-telling. via: information aesthetic
Stereoscopic Parking Garage inside the Eureka Tower Carpark in Melbourne, Australia designed by Axel Peemoeller. It's taking a conventional idea of stretched road sign (horizontal road signs are usually stretched to help drivers read sign easier from distance) to the next level. The effect is especially interesting because of all the turns drivers have to make inside of the parking lot and seeing these signs from all different angles. (Thanks for sending the link, Corey!)
I love the photo of contextual graffiti done by Brazilian artist Alexandre Orion. "Orion experiments with combining his street art and his fascination with photography…a process he calls ‘Metabiotica’." Check out more pics on David Report blog
Reverse Graffiti. We've heard of the idea a while ago but it's really kicking in. Couple interesting thoughts here.
1. Thinking of media inside out.
2. Graffiti actually makes environment cleaner.
We really need to start thinking of the problem-solution relationship differently.

Is there a price for empty objects that provoke considered thinking? We love the abstractness of the approach. It certainly makes us think.

Our conversation about automobile interior started with this images, Solid Poetry by Frederik Molenschot and Susanne Happle.
This is a comment from Susan in how it could be used for other applications.
"Or how about the exterior of a car? A message magically appears when it rains - or as I experienced today - snows."
It is nice to have a reveal effect when it rains/snows. Something to look forward to in gloomy weather.

Susan,
How about this wallpaper? Light Emitting Wallpaper by Jonas Samson. Maybe it turns on when the car is in the "rest" mode being parked and the driver is relaxing inside rather than driving.
Susan reminded me of this wall paper yesterday.
Graphic designer, shi yuan has created a project entitled 'design with life' to explore how print design can evolve over time, coming to life. the project includes this wallpaper design that contains heat-sensitive ink. when heat is
applied, for instance from a radiator, the vine pattern blooms colorful flowers.

We were saying that...wouldn't it be cool if interior of the car changes its pattern to "cool" when outside is hot in summer and "warm" during the winter?
