Flyp - more than information

You might have already come across this but this is my new thing!! Flyp. Magazine style media that have great up-to-date contents, visually beautiful layout (got to love that!!!) and interactive contents that keeps me wanting to flip the pages for more. In these information overload age, it's hard to encounter something that I feel so engaged. Try it! I think you will like it too. 

Future web browser scenario

"Aurora is a concept video presenting one possible future user experience for the Web, created by Adaptive Path as part of the Mozilla Labs concept browser series." We like concept prototype that shares just enough information to get us imagining what the future holds. This first concept Aurora seemed little bit complicated for me by viewing the video.  However, I am looking forward to their browser concept series to see some other concepts. Maybe there would be simpler more intuitive user experience? different settings for scenario?

Idee Multicolour Search Lab

I was introduced to beautiful website by my partner in crime, Fridolin Beisert yesterday. Idee Inc. I especially love the Multicolour Search Lab Flickr Set within the site. The interaction is very simple and straightforward. You select as many colors as you want from the palette on the right hand side and the website searches for Flickr photos that match with the selected color set. Very visual and spontaneous. Have fun!

Deck of news

Current news/events can be shuffled as a deck of cards at Spectra Visual Newsreader. Reader can be surrounded by layers of information on screen (preselected by websites and then readers) and quickly flip through them just like you're dealing with deck of cards. The experience is interesting but so artificial and synthetic that I wonder it makes readers want to go back to old newspapers/magazines...

Now we have to learn how to interpret Information w/AI

We have tried Smart technology to understand what "we" want. Now we have to be sensitive and listen to what "they" are saying. ("they"=Information w/AI)
